Pizza is burnt. I would rather them re-make my pizza and take a little longer for delivery. Very unhappy!

Their pizza is overrated. Gt the "Margherita" 2nd time ever in. Tomatoes kinda too chunky. I asked for it cooked well, w cheese more melted than last time (abt 3 weeks ago). My son and I both thought the pizza slices were soft and droopy after taking over 1/2 hour to 'be ready.' I pd at 4:48pm and didnt get the pie til after 5:25pm! As I'm waiting Im noticing the ppl next to us who cm in a few mins after us got theirs and many others w/ take out orders getting their pies, etc n leaving. In and out. So, I finally go up and ask them is ours almost ready yet. 2 of them, the guy who rang me up and a pizza guy chime in so fast to say "its taking longer since I asked for it more well done" as if rehearsed. What a joke! So, OK..this justifies taking abt 37 mins longer?! No, it doesnt in the least.

After looking at pictures of their prepared food and my own experience, I really feel other places in Poughkeepie are far better. Especially for the price. I spent $50 for takeout and got an appetizer (Calamari) and shrimp scampi. The portion size was good. Plenty of food. The Calamri was soggy. The breading was white and could have used a couple more min in the deep fryer. The shrimp scampi had 8 peices of shrimp and the sauce was like water. Not creamy and I would say under seasoned. The shrimp were overcooked and very firm. The pasta was good. Overall, not going back. I should have known as there was no customers there at 6pm.

Supposedly opens at 10am on Sundays, I walked in around 1030-40 with my 2 kids and they seemed to be in a rush so I asked if they were ready for service. They said we need a few minutes. I noticed him cutting a plain pie up which is exactly what my kids would have wanted. I asked if we could just get a couple of slices, he said he needed a few more minutes. I walked out. I know i look crazy, so not sure if thats why we would be dismissive of a walk in but what ever. You had money in your store willing to pay right then. I'm good on this place

I've had pizzas from Giacomo's ordered in by coworkers but haven't been truly able to appreciate it's freshness as gets cold and loses its character once I get to it. But today, i had the opportunity to order a fresh pasta. I had the boscaiola (no ham) with fettucine and it was AMAZING! So fresh, delicious, i did not miss the meat...and a huge portion! I had it to-go, so I am not able to speak on the level of service eating in, but im sure it would be top notch. If youre going to a Giacomo's, THIS is the one to go to for sure!! Thank you for accommodating my request perfectly and for a delicious lunch!
